Basement Bathroom Tile

The plan for our tile floor in the basement bathroom is monochromatic.  Something similar to this in my inspiration board:

Only this tile is from Walker Zanger and is very very pricey.  So, inspired by this photo:

diyshowoff.com, "Bathroom Makeover - Estimated . . . "
I drew up a to-scale design of  a tile on the diagonal in the area by the vanity and then in the area by the tub.  And then I went shopping.  Here are some photos of the potential tile (and my 3 year old):

I hope that this slate looking tile isn't too dark.  I am going for a cream and grey look . . .  Wish us luck :)

    1. If you are working on a budget, I would be able to help you with a do-it-yourself design plan. I am a trained interior designer and I can work with you over the internet by making you an inspiration board for what you can do with the space. This wouldn't cost a lot of money. Send me some pictures and measurements and we will be on our way! nflarsen@yahoo.com
